What if I Can't Pay for a Lawyer?
What if I Can't Pay For a Lawyer?
No upfront payment is required for car accident cases. The only thing we need to start representing you is your signature.
Jess understands that coming up with the money to pay for a lawyer can be stressful and a burden that many people cannot endure. Jess believes that everyone should be able to seek the justice they deserve, whether they can afford to pay an attorney a retainer or not and without having to risk what hard earned savings they may have.
Therefore, Jess handles injured parties' personal injury cases on a contingency basis and will pay all upfront costs of your case. Working on a contingency basis means that Jess only earns a fee on your case if we win your case and nothing is ever owed upfront. This means that we will never ask you for payment to start working on your injury case. It also means that you will never receive a monthly invoice from our office. It is just another way that Jess is devoted to less stress for her clients!
All fees and costs will be deducted from the settlement funds we eventually obtain on your behalf. You will receive an itemization of all fees and costs before any payments are made. If there is no settlement offer or jury verdict or other recovery on your case, you owe nothing to the Jessica Corley Law Firm (including costs!).
